Meet the Team

Cindy is a 38-year veteran of radio. She started her career with WTRM-91.3 FM in Winchester, Virginia in 1988. She became a familiar voice on the radio hosting Midweek Manna, the Request Show, and Old-Time favorites as well as hosting drive time radio shows. As a promotions coordinator, Cindy planned large events and Share-a-thons for WTRM Southern Light for nearly 30 years.

She has worked at many radio stations in the area including: Remote News Service (News Anchor), West Virginia Radio Corporation (Midday Host on Magic 100.5), and WCBC (News Reporter/Advertising).

Cindy is the current owner and manager of Spirit 101.1 FM along with her son Alexander and his wife Skylar. In her spare time, aside from teaching piano, she enjoys gardening, her many cats, and traveling to new places. She is also the music director at Burlington Children’s Home.

Her personal mission is and has always been to make a difference in people’s lives and to provide help and support to businesses, churches, and organizations through the media of radio broadcasting.

Sean was born and raised in Allegany County Maryland. He is married with and has 6 children and three grandchildren. He and his wife belong to Danville Baptist Community church where he currently serves as a deacon. I look forward to seeing how local radio can serve and help local businesses and churches grow.

Skylar is an actress, artist, and entrepreneur. She is a regular on and off the stage at the historic Embassy Theatre, where she serves as theatre’s Production Manager and head of the Publicity Committee. Skylar is always looking for ways to use her creativity to support the community and loves creating digital artwork for local organizations and events.
